Let's jump see the pros and cons of trying to video edit with only 8GB RAM and a HD 630 GPU. In short, 8GB RAM is do-able, what happens is that macOS tends to compress the app memory when you switch apps if it runs out of space, so when you switch back there is a lag to buffer the project back to memory, but once that's done, things move fast again. Rendering out the video is of course slow, around 3x slower than the MacBook Pro 2018, however that doesn't mean it can't edit 4k video shot on the A7iii even with colour correction, that runs completely fine. The main issue is for using more than one advanced rendering effect, such as a gaussian blur with mask, this can be very laggy, even in Better Performance mode.
